Project Description

NOTES:

NSS 2014 was E. Frances Paper’s first year exhibiting at the National Stationery Show. Ali and her team had a 80 sq ft in-line booth under the low ceilings. They ordered foam core walls through Manny Stone. Their clip on lights were purchased at Home Depot. Flooring was made of interlocking foam floor tiles. For signage, they had their logo printed on foam core, then used a wood frame with a chain-link to hang the sign along the back wall. The display shelves were built from wood and attached to the top horizontal pipe hidden behind the foam core. All of the furniture was purchased at Ikea. In terms of shipping, they stuffed everything (including 3 girls and a lot of candy!) into a Honda CRV and drove it into NY. Ali cautions everyone to stay calm and positive during set-up. They experienced lots of Macgyver moments where things didn’t go as expected and had to figure out a way to make it work.
